Cricket Six is a one-tap batting game for everyone who loves cricket, whether you follow the IPL, watch international matches or play gully cricket with friends. You face a bowler in a stadium full of cheering fans, and your only job is to swing the bat at exactly the right moment. A perfectly timed shot flies out of the ground for a SIX, a good shot races to the boundary for FOUR, and a poor shot gives you singles or gets you out. Each innings gives you 12 balls and 3 wickets to chase a target, and every successful chase raises the target for the next one.
Tap anywhere on the screen, or press the space bar, to swing the bat. A bowler runs in and releases the ball from the right side of the pitch. The ball bounces once and then comes toward your bat, which is on the left. A dotted circle marks the sweet spot where the bat meets the ball. Tap just as the ball reaches the circle. If you tap too early the bat swings through nothing, and if you tap too late the ball may slip past into the stumps. Watch the ball, not the bowler, because every delivery has a different speed.
The closer your tap is to the perfect moment, the better the shot. Perfect timing sends the ball over the rope for a six. Good timing usually gives a four, with a chance of a six. Slightly mistimed shots score one or two runs, but may be caught by a fielder. A complete miss is a dot ball, and if the ball reaches the stumps you are bowled. Each innings has 12 balls and three wickets, so a couple of mistakes do not end the game, but there is little time to waste.
The first target is 30 runs in 12 balls. Chase it down and the next innings starts with a higher target, with new bowlers who deliver faster balls and sharper yorkers. Your total runs across all innings are saved as your best score in your browser, so every session is a chance to beat your own record.
Find your rhythm: tap with the same relaxed motion on every ball, and keep your eyes on the bounce spot, since the ball always comes off the pitch at a predictable speed. A slow ball needs patience, because tapping early is the most common mistake against slower deliveries. Yorkers arrive fast and low, so be ready to react. When you need more than six runs from the last ball, take a calculated risk, but when the target is within reach, a safe single is worth more than a wild swing. Remember that wickets are limited, so a mistimed shot that could be caught is a risk when you are close to the target.
When your innings is over you can share your score straight to WhatsApp and challenge friends and family to beat it. Cricket is a social sport, and a good Cricket Six score is perfect for a bit of friendly bragging.
One tap is all you need, so the game is perfect for playing one-handed on a phone. It scales to any screen size and runs inside your browser without an install.
