Get your auto-rickshaw to the flag. Don't flip it, don't drop the saamaan!

Auto Dhamaal is a free physics driving game about the hardest job on a village road: getting a loaded auto-rickshaw to the other side in one piece. Every level is a short stretch of kachchi sadak full of hills, potholes, launch ramps, slippery mud, wobbling seesaws and old wooden bridges. Your job is to reach the chequered flag without the auto landing on its roof, and without the matka, the sabzi baskets or the gas cylinder bouncing out of the back. It runs in the browser on an HTML5 canvas with a real physics engine, so there is nothing to install, and it plays the same on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
Phone and tablet: press and hold the right half of the screen to give gas, and the left half to brake or reverse. You can press both at once to stop hard. Computer: use the right arrow or D for gas, the left arrow or A for brake, R to restart, H for the horn and Esc to pause.
The trick that makes the game fun is air control. When both wheels leave the ground, gas tips the nose of the auto up and brake tips it down. After a jump, use short taps to line the auto up with the slope you are about to land on. A landing on both wheels keeps your speed and your cargo; a landing on the nose or the back usually ends with the auto on its roof.
Each level gives up to three stars: one for reaching the flag, one for bringing every piece of cargo home safe, and one for finishing under the target time shown on the result screen. Gold coins float along the road, and you also earn coins for every new star. Spend them in the Garage to unlock the Chhakda, which is long and steady and carries more, and the Tractor, which is slow but has huge back wheels that can climb through anything. A new level opens as soon as you finish the one before it.
The cargo sits loose in the open back of the vehicle, so it moves exactly as real objects would. The clay matka is light and fragile: a hard bump or a bad landing breaks it. The sabzi baskets are light and bouncy and like to jump out on rough patches. The gas cylinder is heavy, so it stays put, but it also makes the auto heavier at the back and easier to tip over on a steep climb.
The kaki in the back seat and the driver talk as you drive, in the Hindi voice of your phone or computer: they shout when you fly, cheer a clean landing and groan when the matka breaks. Every world has its own little folk tune with dholak beats. Both can be switched off on the title screen or in the pause menu.
Every day there is a new Daily road, the same for every player, with its own board of the fastest drivers of the day and a streak that grows each day you finish it. When you finish a level you can send a challenge link to a friend: they race your exact run as a see-through ghost and see your time to beat. After a crash or a big win, the game can turn the last few seconds into a short vertical video, ready for a WhatsApp status or a reel. Land a jump on both wheels for a PERFECT bonus, and turn a full circle in the air for a bigger one.
Let go of the gas just before a big jump so the auto does not spin backwards in the air. On steep climbs, tap the gas instead of holding it, because full power lifts the front wheel. Mud has very little grip, so arrive at a muddy hill with full speed and keep going. Drive onto a seesaw slowly and wait for it to tip. On the old bridge, never stop: each plank falls a moment after you touch it. If you get stuck, the restart button puts you back at the start instantly.
There are 100 levels in ten worlds: the village road, city traffic, the monsoon, the ghat road, the night fair, the white desert of the Rann, the beach, the jungle, the snowy hills and a Diwali night full of fireworks. Each world has its own look, weather and music, and later worlds add ice and soft sand. The first world, Gaon ki Kachchi Sadak, has ten levels. The first three teach you to drive and to look after the cargo. Then come your first jump, a muddy climb, two seesaws, a falling bridge, a swinging rope bridge with a boost pad, a long flight of temple steps, and finally Gaon ka Dhamaal, a long boss level that mixes everything. Each level takes between fifteen and forty-five seconds, so a retry is never more than a tap away.
